THANK YOU:.

Thanks everyone for a great CD Release Party.  We received $100 in donations for Blood:Water Mission along with 30 (19 paid, 10 pay on arrival, and one online)  pre-orders of the CD.  We had around 110 in attendance!  Thanks for coming out Trinity AG and North Syracuse Christian Church!!

VALENTINES DINNER:.

We are still in need for people to help on Friday night from 5 PM to 9 PM serving food at the Valentines dinner.  Please contact PJ to help.  It's a pretty fun night!  If you plan on serving we ask that you wear black or tan pants with a white button down shirt.

YOUTH SUNDAY THIS SUNDAY:.

We will be showcasing our worship team, Dumb as a stick, and hearing Josh Montague's Short Sermon!!  Pastor Jon will be preaching a short sermon about social justice and Blood:Water Mission.  Don't miss this Sunday!!  Services are at 8:00 AM and 10:15 AM.

PARENT/STUDENT SOUP PARTY @ MALARA'S:.

This Sunday from 6 PM to 8PM we have another great get-together at the Malara's.  Please contact them if you are interested in going.  You can email them here. Please bring your parents so we can get to know them if we haven't met yet!

DISTRICT YOUTH CONVENTION:.

Youth Convention is quickly approaching!  March 20-22nd right here in Syracuse.  The cost for the event is $50 (Due February 24th) and includes the newest, much-anticipated Revolution T-shirt!   We have many competing on the state level for Fine Arts this year to so it will be a pretty crazy convention.  Get registered today!  Housing details will be announced soon.

ICE SKATING THIS WEDNESDAY:.

We will be going downtown this coming Wednesday for ice skating!  The cost is $5 per person (plus extra if you want to purchase snacks or drinks).  We will be leaving no later than 7:10 and returning by 9: PM (please make sure your parents know we are going later than usual).  Please bring with you a written permission from your parents saying they know you are going ice skating (with a signature).

FRIENDS NIGHT (FEBRUARY 27th):.

We have an incredible group coming to Revolution for Friends Night on February 27th at 7 PM from Georgia.  Some of you have seen them if you went to Syracuse All-Night Tour last year (they did the stomp routine at the beginning).  It's going to be an incredible night but only if you bring some friends.  More to come as we get closer.

Fine Arts Schedule!!

Hey Fine Arters, the schedule is up for the day.  Just a note that the entries aren't scheduled by time but in numerical order as it is hard to judge how long things will take.  It looks like drama will be performing throughout the day and Music is right in the middle of all that!  Yikes, it'll be a crazy day.

Weekly Update

YOUTH CONVENTION:.

It's Youth Convention time again!!  March 20-22nd.   Once again Jeff Deyo will be leading worship and new this year is Jeanne Mayo who will be speaking.  It is also our hope this year to have a bunch of our students involved with District Fine Arts (Which we will find out this weekend!!).  The cost for the event is $50 and will include the newest Revolution apparel.  Sign up tonight at Revolution and bring in your money by March 1st.

SECTIONAL FINE ARTS:.

This Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM is our Sectional Fine Arts Festival at Word of Life Assembly of God in Baldwinsville.  Registration for participants is from 9-10.  Parents are welcome to come and watch the performances which are from 10:30 to 1:30 with an awards ceremony at 3:00 PM.  If anyone needs a ride to the festival there will be a van leaving from the church at 7:45 AM but YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN RIDE HOME.  Bring money for meals and snacks on-site.  A rough estimate of when you are performing will be located on the blog (www.myrsm.org) the day of the festival (as we do not know until that day).

**A reminder from Jeannine: Anyone performing in a drama must wear black socks and girls MUST HAVE a leatard.

Just a reminder of the CD Release party on February 13th at 7:00 PM for 12-18 year olds.  We will have Wacky Chad performing as well as our own RSM Band.  The CD will be available for purchase soon (you can purchase it on the blog as well.  Until then you can check out the promo video from the post below or on our myspace or facebook.
